I’ve known for a long time that I wanted to be part of the food and beverage world.

With two career-oriented parents, oftentimes I found myself experimenting in the kitchen. Food became a form of exploration for me, and over time, that interest evolved into a deliberate career path that combines strategic thinking, creativity, and a desire to be immersed in the heart of food culture.

Since then, I’ve taken that instinct and paired it with formal training and experience. I studied Economics at King’s College London and later earned my Master’s in Entrepreneurship at Imperial College London. Those programs challenged me to think critically about markets, consumer behaviour, and how new ideas become viable businesses. After university, I went on to work in business development, landing a promotion after just one year. I loved working closely with clients, delivering results, and building relationships — skills I continue to use today.

But food always pulled me back. I explored this through a catering initiative during my internships, then deeper still through courses in nutrition and food photography. I started freelancing, and eventually, I turned that into a full-time role. Today, I work as a Food Photographer at Equator Design, a global agency specialising in branding, packaging design and photography for supermarket retailers and food & beverage brands. The visual storytelling and client collaboration at Equator have helped me further understand how brands communicate through food — and how trends translate into business value.

I’d love the opportunity to bring my perspective and creative eye to your project. If you would like to work together, please get in touch at hello@saksfoodavenue.com
